Analysis

The legalization of all drugs will raise billions of dollars which will be reinvested in the communities that have been destroyed by the war on drugs. Legalization will save billions of tax dollars a year that is currently being spent on drug suppression activities and prison costs.

The drug trade is responsible for most of the criminal behavior in our poor and minority communities. Elimination of the drug trade with lead to safer neighborhoods and will stop the inner-city decay.

Federal regulation of illegal drugs can drastically reduce the 70,000 people that die each year due to drug overdoses.
