Children's Equality Amendment

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed by being provided with equitable access to a high-quality public education and a safe neighborhood to live in. The current funding model of using property taxes as the primary source of school funding ensures that poor neighborhoods get failing schools. The amendment to the Constitution will require all schools to provide the same level and quality of education using state and federal money to achieve the funding deficits for the poor school districts.
